Management diversification and supervision functions are further strengthened by appointment of independent directors and auditors, and management transparency is enhanced by reporting business results to shareholders and others.

  We place particular emphasis on compliance, and comply with various laws, regulations and internal rules concerning business and operations. We additionally practice a higher level of corporate ethics, including social norms, and aim for “faithful behavior” based on our corporate philosophy and action guidelines in all business activities.Changes in our surrounding environment have become remarkably fast in recent years, and regulations based on laws have become more restrictive, complex, and diverse. Moreover, social demands and expectations for companies are evolving, and demands for “Corporate Social Responsibility” continue to grow.We will continue to ensure compliance meeting continuously evolving requirements, and stay sincere to all stakeholders, including our business partners.

  We manufacture and handle chemical substances so on April 1, 2019 we revised a Responsible Care Policy. In it we pledge to protect health and the environment and to ensure safety for chemicals from development through manufacture, distribution, use, and disposal. In that spirit, we are committed to helping achieve sustainability through business activities that prioritize safety, the environment, and product quality.

  We acquired ISO 14001 environmental management system certification for all our business locations by 2002, and ISO 9001 quality management system certification by 2000. We are constantly working to improve environmental protection measures and product quality.
